Entrepreneur Tee Capel of Fly Behavior rocking the BOSSI Fringe Sweater (SOLD OUT)

What I love about today’s fashion direction is how we can take a classic, new, or retro trend and put an even more chic spin on it. FRINGE FUN FACT: Fringe was originally a technique used to stop unhemmed garments from unraveling. Fringes have been used in fashion history with various ways to rock them. My personal favorite era of the fringe was the late 60’s and early 70’s.

Something about a classic extended fringe jacket is so fun and bold to me, and it’s such a signature piece! According to Style Caster, “Fire up your Boomerang app: fall’s best party pieces are made for shimmy-shaking. Whether strategically deployed on the hem of a skirt or cascading down the length of a dress, fringe added a sense of playfulness to many collections.” Instead of boring you all with reasons why I love this trend, I’m going to give you a few fashion-forward ways to ‘Refine the Fringe!’

Small, but popping! Fringe earrings are a perfect way to give a bit of edge to your look!

Giuseppe Zanotti is always killing it! Try a fun fringe heel with your next fit for the holidays! It is so easy to have a fly outfit if the shoes are the main attraction, even if you’re rockin’ a classic pair of jeans and a T-shirt.

I know it’s a little cold for slides, but they are definitely a shoe to incorporate especially if you pair it a trendy pair of socks or hosiery!

Go big or Go home! Why not make a statement by covering yourself in fringes like Tracee Ellis Ross.

Bags are my absolute favorite accessory and I love how fringes add so much drama to a clutch, a backpack, a tote, or a fanny pack!
