RowASeat1: When did you fall in love with fashion?
Megan Gabrielle: Probably in the 4th grade, I had decided that I wanted to be an author, model, photographer, and designer all at once.
RowASeat1: Describe yourself in 5 words.
MG: I am gentle, patient, artistic, optimistic, and understanding.
RowASeat1: How were you introduced to modeling?
MG: In 2007, I went to an open call for Ford Models when they had an office in San Francisco. It was held at the W Hotel, and there were so many girls. I was pulled aside to take digitals and received a call a week later, which was when I was offered my first modeling contract.
RowASeat1: Of all your travels, which has been your favorite place thus far?
MG: It’s a tie between Florence (Italy) & Cape Town.
RowASeat1: When I’m modeling I feel….
MG: When I’m modeling I feel powerful.
RowASeat1: Models who inspire you.
MG: I am inspired by these amazing models: Lakshmi Menon, Naomi Campbell, Chrishell Stubbs, Yasmin Warsame, Joan Smalls, Jordan Dunn and Anais Mali.
MG: I would love to model for Balmain, Givenchy, Versace, Dior.
RowASeat1: Name three things you can’t live without.
MG: I can’t live without God, my family, and Art.
RowASeat1: Modeling in the U.S vs. Internationally…
MG: The U.S is great for money, and modeling internationally is great for the experience. However, each experience is equally appreciated.
RowASeat1: How do you prepare for a shoot or show?
MG: I make sure I eat properly, and I drink a good cup of coffee. Then I show up barefaced, clean hair and shaved. Always prepared with nude and/or black underwear and a good pair of classic black heels.
