Fresh Off The Runway: Cindy Bruna

While stylishly cruising through one of my favorite fashion sites,, I ran across the absolutely stunning designer Antonio Berardi Pre-Fall 2015 with an even more stunning familiar model by the name of Cindy Bruna.

Clearly, I was stuck because she fashionably killed the entire look book and I’m almost sure this is why the designer focused solely on her, Cindy is drop dead gorgeous. And most importantly the garments slayed as well, I mean Berardi’s Pre-Fall 2015 collection embodied a masculine approach with a feminine twist that’s beyond the typical androgynous we normally see from one season to the next. I adore every garment, especially the outerwear. I mean gosh, how does a girl choose? The colors in grey, black, red and blue; to the textured fabrics in houndstooth wool and the shapes within the skirts and jackets… Bow Down!!!

Okay, now back to Cindy Bruna and why she’s the RowASeat1 #FreshOffTheRunway model this week — So, if you’ve been living under a rock for the past couple of years and you claim to love fashion, I suggest you roll over and become fashion roadkill. Wake Up, Cindy is the Catwalk’s Meow, here’s why…

So here are a few groundbreaking facts about the Congolese/Italian glamazon from the South of France. Discovered by Dominique Savri, head booker for Metropolitan Models at the age of 16 and she’s been breaking barriers ever since.

For example, In 2012, she became the first model of color to ever walk exclusively for Calvin Klein. And as fellow Supermodels like legendary Naomi Campbell and Malaika Firth, Cindy was the third model of color to become the face of a Prada campaign. Not bad for a 20-year old covering several fashion magazines and over one-hundred fashion shows for bragging rights, keep going Cindy because the sky is the limit!
