imageOn July 7th, the founder of KISS magazine, Sean M. Rush produced the second fashion show installment in Atlanta held at the artsy and stylish production facility, Studio2B sponsored by D’USSÈ with sounds by Core DJ Muzik Manny.

As the Midwest strutted in style through the dirty South two extremely talented designers introduce their SS15 capsule collection covering all avenues of fashion from swimwear to uptown girl flyness. Designers: Veronica Ariel of Socialite by Veronica Ariel and Larry Andrew of Asia Mynor were nothing short of fabulously chic for the evening.

MORE ABOUT THE DESIGNERS

For the highlight of the event, guests were able to view a special mini-presentation of two Midwest collections: Veronica Ariel and Asia Mynor. The Veronica Ariel Summer 2015 collection is comprised of 12 items. For the evening, Veronica selected six designs to give attendees a taste of her overall collection. The collection consists of: bold prints, neon and ombré-colored pieces. Veronica wanted the design silhouettes to be fun, flirty, and girly. Veronica showcased more swimwear this year than her previous collections.

This year, Veronica wanted to make her mark on the summer by going retro with the classic, one-piece swimsuit. Veronica used fabrics such as: neoprene, silk charmeuse, and spandex, to add her fashionable flair to the collection. Veronica’s goal is to keep her clientele comfortable during the summer season. Each fabric used is easy-to-wear and sustains the warm, summer temperatures.

Next, designer, Larry Andrew – a graduate of IADT and Milwaukee-native, debuted his best collection to date. Larry’s clothing line, Asia Mynor, is no stranger to the national stage, with reality-star clientele like: Malaysia Pargo (BBWLA), Kimbella (LHHNY), Erica Mena (LHHNY), and Emily B (LHHNY).

A few pieces from his summer 2015 collection featured a combination of unique fabrics such as: stretched cottons, neoprene, and silk taffeta. While designers shy away from non-traditional colors for summer, Larry went against the grain using a variety of: blacks, yellows, neon blue, neon yellow, and a touch of white, in his pieces. When asked about his inspiration for the collection, Larry expressed that he wanted to combine elements of athletic wear with his vogue signature style.
