Style maven, fashion writer, brand consultant, you name it… BeBe Jones has dedicated nearly 15 years of her life to the fashion + journalism industry working with notable brands such as Nikon, Samsung, Nike, Puma, Champs Sports, Condé Nast, H&M, Alex and Ani, UEG Worldwide, and many more. As a Jackson State University alumna, BeBe utilized her Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism + Bachelor of Arts degree in Merchandise Management (International Academy of Design and Technology) with her passion for fashion and was able to write for print and online publications like Ebony Magazine, N’Digo Magpaper, TheFashionSpot.com, Sister2Sister Magazine, and Savoymag.com.
In 2013, BeBe decided to take a leap of faith and she created her own wave as an entrepreneur. Her passion stemmed from the lack of coverage and opportunities for creatives of color throughout the MidWest. She set out to provide a platform for emerging and established designers, stylists, models, boutique owners, sneaker/brand influencers, and beauty connoisseurs, thus she created Row A Seat 1 – A fashion conglomerate comprised of blogging, styling, brand development, fashion production, and philanthropy.
Today, BeBe has been named as one of Chicago’s most sought-after fashion stylists, bloggers, and influential natives, where she’s been able to showcase her work across print, television, and social media. She developed a hands-on styling workshop, “Everybody Wanna Be A Stylist” for aspiring fashion stylists. As an entrepreneur, BeBe has been featured on, but not limited to: InStyle Magazine, The Zoe Report, Rolling Out Magazine, MADE magazine, Chicago Defender, Bronzeville Life Magazine, ABC 7 Windy City Live, WCIU The Jam, and WVON 1690AM Live – “The Talk of Chicago (iHeartRadio).” Also, BeBe’s styling work has been published in some of the most credible fashion publications: British Vogue, Tatler, Vanity Fair, GlamourUK.com, The Coveteur, and Chicago Splash.
